Dear Bruno

Received your letter today. Your teeth must have been sore but it is good you have them out and the hospital is the right place for you for a few days. I sent a parcel with cake and fudge Saturday. Now I supposed you won't be able to eat it. your clothes came back. All but the cup. If they left it out inquire about it for it is good for Bobby. I haven't had any word from Bunny since I can't imagine

why unless his mail is held up. He was up to Scotland Nov 27 to Dec. 6. Your father wrote, so I know he is all right. They asked your father to postpone his leave till after New Year. Then he is going to Ireland. Billy Jarratt sent P75 for a Xmas present to Lucy and the baby. She got quite a surprise. Cleo Doucet came home last week. He is one of those on 30 days leave.I suppose you saw in the paper about Walter Glidden's little boy getting burned to death and Bert Brunch dying very suddenly.

expected to live either. They were giving her transfusions today. I heard this evening that Earl Brunch (Clyde's son) had taken a stroke. The last snow that came a week ago is going to stay I guess and it has turned quite cold. If you get leave for Xmas you will be leaving there Wednesday night I suppose. If you dont get away till New year write in time so I can send you some little box for Xmas. I suppose you have plenty of reading stuff for just now. The last star story wasn't much anyway and I only got it back from Lucy yesterday.

There is no news more to write. I hope your mouth will soon be better. It is miserable to have your gums sore. Take care of yourself.
Lovingly yours
Mother.
